Jorge Pulleiro is a multilingual professional who currently serves as a high school associate principal in Idaho, USA.
Before becoming a school administrator, he worked as a middle school Dual-Immersion Spanish Language Arts teacher for 8 years, a Spanish and Student Leadership teacher for 7 years, a Spanish and Italian instructor for 3 years, and an English high school teacher for 2 years. In addition, Jorge led multiple successful student exchange trips to Spain, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, and Argentina. Jorge holds a bachelor’s degree in Spanish Translation and Interpretation with a Minor in Italian from Brigham Young University, a master’s degree in teaching education from Eastern Oregon University, and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Boise State University. Jorge is the recipient of various awards and titles, to include the 2021 Idaho Teacher of the Year and the 2021 Great Immigrant – Great American Award.
In addition to decades of educational experience, Jorge has also spent many years volunteering his time and his skills across a variety of organizations, including more than 4 years as an ecclesiastical leader for the LDS church, and 2 years as a religious missionary in the Republic of Uruguay. Jorge proudly served in the U.S. Army for 6 years.
